As part of a collaborative effort with the Singapore Government's NEA program, we integrated the NEA Climate Voucher system into an existing POS application to allow shop owners and customers to seamlessly use the vouchers in their transactions.

Stakeholder Meetings: Participated in several government meetings to understand their requirements for the NEA Climate Voucher system.

Shops Consultation: Engaged with shop owners to gather insights into the user journey and how they would integrate the system within their existing processes.

Document Review: Carefully reviewed all provided documentation from the government to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the technical and legal requirements.

Flow Definition: Based on research, I defined a clear user flow for integrating the NEA Climate Voucher into the POS system.

Wireframes & UI Design: Created wireframes and designed the UI, ensuring the new feature was intuitive and aligned with the existing POS interface.

Task Flow Modification: Adapted the task flow to incorporate the new feature seamlessly while maintaining a smooth experience for the users.

Time Frame & Planning: Estimated a realistic time frame for the entire design and implementation process.

Developer Discussion: Coordinated with developers to understand the technical constraints and adjust the design where necessary.

Jira Tickets & Documentation: Created detailed Jira tickets outlining the requirements and managed the project documentation throughout the process.

Approval & Feedback: Presented the design and flow to stakeholders, incorporated feedback, and received approval.

Usability Testing: Assisted in the usability testing phase to ensure that the design was user-friendly and intuitive.

UAT Testing (Government Side): Collaborated with the government for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in both test and production environments, ensuring compliance and functionality.

Final Implementation: Coordinated the installation of the feature in the shop systems and trained staff on its usage.

Successfully integrated the NEA Climate Voucher system into the POS application, receiving approval from both stakeholders and the government.

The new feature is now live, enabling shops to offer a more sustainable and efficient solution for customers using the NEA vouchers.

It all started with a simple realization. I, like many others, struggled with building consistent habits. Whether it was drinking enough water, exercising daily, or sticking to a reading schedule, the motivation often faded. That’s when I asked myself, What if there was a tool that not only reminded me but also made the journey rewarding and enjoyable?

The idea for the Habit Tracker App was born—a mobile application designed to help users effortlessly record, monitor, and improve their habits. But I wasn’t just designing an app; I was creating a companion for people striving to be their best selves.

Before diving into design, I needed to empathize with users and uncover their needs. I conducted user interviews, reviewed existing habit-tracking apps, and explored the psychology of habit formation.

These insights formed the foundation of my design process, ensuring every decision addressed real user pain points.

To translate insights into a tangible solution, I structured the design process into key phases:

By following this process, I ensured the app wasn’t just functional but also a delight to use.

To validate the app’s positioning, I analyzed competitors like Habitica, Streaks, and Productive. I examined their user flows, gamification techniques, and customization options.

I leveraged these findings to ensure the Habit Tracker App focused on simplicity, seamless usability, and user empowerment, carving out a unique space in the market.

Equipped with insights, I brainstormed, sketched, and mapped out the app’s structure. I focused on creating intuitive user flows that simplified habit tracking.

With each iteration, I refined the wireframes, ensuring they were user-friendly, efficient, and visually engaging. Every design decision was guided by the question: Does this make life easier for the user?

Designing the Habit Tracker App was a journey of discovery and creativity. It demonstrates my ability to identify user needs, synthesize insights into actionable designs, and deliver a polished, user-centered product.

This app is more than a habit tracker; it’s a reflection of my design philosophy—empathy-driven, solution-focused, and simplicity-first.

With this app, I envision helping users celebrate every step of their journey, empowering them to achieve their goals and build a better version of themselves.

The Habit Tracker App helps users build habits effortlessly with easy tracking, visual streaks, and a personalized, engaging experience for all lifestyles.
